Nothing like a minty, citrus delight to cool you down after a long day or well-deserved weekend. Being able to re-make your favourite restuarant refreshments shouldn't be a task, this one isn't. Surprisingly, this drink can also be the main attraction at a kid's party - my nephews can attest to this.
Ingredients:
750 ml of Lemon-Lime Sprite
1 sliced medium lemon (or lime)
15 leaves of fresh mint
7 ice cubes (optional)
Alternatives:
If you're monitoring your sugar intake, Sprite can be exchanged for soda water. You can then use refined sugar to an amount you find suitable.
Instructions:
- Add 200 ml of Sprite to a 1l jug and add 7 mint leaves. With a wooden spoon, compress the mint leaves against the bottom of the jug for 30 minute.
- Squeeze 3 slices of lemon into the jug.
- Pour the remaining amount of Sprite, mint and lemons into the jug.
- Let the drink rest for 30 min in the fridge.
and...serve chilled & chillin'!
This is impressive, I can't wait for you to visit me so I can enjoy all this goodies 😊
