It's winter and the strength of our immune systems could do with a little re-inforcement. Amoungst other foods, oranges are the new classy snack in my pantry. I've made the perfect immunity boosting smoothie recipe, tried it and felt an instant kick of caffiene-free energy. The turmeric has an amazing anti-inflammatory benefit too. Although it has pulp from the citrus fruit, give it a try.
Ingredrients
1 orange (peeled)
2 tsp turmeric
5 tbsp double cream plain yoghurt
Method
Add the orange, turmeric and yoghurt to the blender and blend.
