This recipe marks the beginning of what I have dubbed The Consol Jar Creations of this blog. I recently bought a few and have been obsessed with making all kinds of drinks in them, but I digress... back to food.
In About the Blog, I referred to myself as the 'chia seed bae' simply because I sprinkle them on almost everything, even in water. Lemons actually have multiple health benefits but the most recent I have learnt of is their ability to detoxify the liver. They also improve your mood and keep you calm. In my opinion lemons are the Elvis Presley of fruit-infused water. Just make you wanna do the twist!
Ingredients:
1/2 a lemon
3 cups of water
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
5 mint leaves
Ice (optional)
Instructions:
Add water into a mason jar or water bottle. Add the lemon slices and mint leaves.
Refrigerate for an hour or longer.
Stir in those protein-rich chia seeds.
You will have an awesome day further (guaranteed) :)
